Pubblichiamo nuovamente l’appello della signora LaRouche con 97 firmatari, personalità da tutto il mondo inclusa l’Italia:
Se si facesse un sondaggio tra la popolazione mondiale, probabilmente si scoprirebbe che la stragrande maggioranza dei cittadini della maggior parte delle nazioni teme il futuro, che vede incombere grandi catastrofi, come una nuova depressione, povertà, fame, perdita di posti di lavoro e, soprattutto, una nuova guerra mondiale, questa volta nucleare, che potrebbe porre fine alla civiltà.
Tra gli esperti militari di tutto il mondo, molti sono convinti che la situazione strategica militare odierna sia più pericolosa di quella della crisi missilistica di Cuba, dato il quasi totale crollo della fiducia tra alcune potenze nucleari, l’annullamento di tutti i trattati sul controllo degli armamenti e il pericolo che possano degenerare diverse crisi geopolitiche, come quella ucraina, quella mediorientale e quella che minaccia di sfuggire al controllo nel Pacifico.
Come è potuto accadere che, solo 80 anni dopo la fine della seconda guerra mondiale, in cui i sopravvissuti avevano solennemente giurato: «Mai più fascismo! Mai più guerra!», l’umanità si ritrovi di nuovo alle porte dell’inferno, come se il ricordo dei milioni di morti in quella guerra mondiale fosse stato dimenticato e come se avessero combattuto, sofferto e perso la vita invano?
Davanti a noi si apre una grande opportunità storica, in cui i leader di tre grandi nazioni potrebbero inviare un segnale forte al mondo. Se il presidente Xi Jinping invitasse il presidente Trump alla parata militare prevista per il 3 settembre in Piazza Tienanmen a Pechino per commemorare l’80° anniversario della fine della Seconda guerra mondiale, e il presidente Trump accettasse l’invito, dato che anche il presidente Putin dovrebbe essere presente, i popoli del mondo potrebbero sperare che questi tre leader aprano un nuovo capitolo nella storia dell’umanità. Dal 1941 al 1945 gli Stati Uniti e l’Unione Sovietica furono alleati contro il nazionalsocialismo tedesco, mentre nello stesso periodo la Cina e gli Stati Uniti furono alleati contro il militarismo giapponese. Se i tre presidenti partecipassero alla parata militare del 3 settembre e rinnovassero insieme il sacro giuramento “Mai più!”, invierebbero al mondo intero il messaggio più forte possibile, ovvero che sta per iniziare una nuova era di pace.
Il presidente Trump è stato eletto per la seconda volta con il mandato di portare la pace e porre fine alle guerre infinite dei suoi predecessori, ed è questo che la maggioranza globale si aspetta dal presidente Xi e dal presidente Putin.
Noi, firmatari di questa petizione, vi esortiamo a salvare l’umanità dall’abisso della distruzione e a diventare i fondatori di una nuova era nella storia dell’umanità!
